Food Pantry – Each Thursday (with the exception of Thanksgiving and Christmas week) we serve clients from 10am to 12:30pm.

Household Assistance Group – Volunteers gather regularly to help provide home repair, ramps and give attention to special projects. If you know of someone in need of assistance or would like to volunteer, please contact Mike Cooley
Houston Furniture Bank – Downsizing? Remodeling?  The HFB can use your gently used furniture and household items to bless others.  For a very minimal (tax deductible) fee (<$100), they will pick up an entire truck full of furniture/items allowing their liaison groups to offer options to families in need.  Visit their website for more pick-up information.  For drop-offs, they are located at 295 Sawdust Rd., Houston, TX 77380 – (713) 842-9771.  Hours are Tuesday-Saturday: 9-6; Monday: 9-5; Sunday: Closed.  (Please call ahead to make drop-off/pick-up arrangements.)

Family Promise – A national nonprofit organization whose mission is to serve homeless families with children by uniting faith communities in a cooperative effort to provide shelter, meals, transportation, and compassionate assistance leading to independence. To learn more watch this short video.

Prison Outreach Ministry – Wildwood will begin partnering with the Luther Prison Unit in Navasota in 2023.  Opportunities will include classes for the inmates, mentoring, counseling, music, Sunday worship, and Kairos.  If you are interested in participating in this ministry, please contact Glenn Smith.
Disaster Response Team – You never know when a moment of crisis will come and your neighbors will be in need. Wildwood works with the Texas Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church to focus teams to those places in greatest need. Work here may include transporting equipment and supplies to disaster areas, placing tarps on homes to prevent water damage, working on homes damaged by a disaster, or being a listening ear to those in crisis.
