Thrive in '25
This year’s annual commitment for giving campaign, Thrive in ’25,
celebrates Wildwood’s selection to participate in the Texas Annual
Conference Parish Project. The Parish Project is a way to reimagine “what it means to be a vibrant, thriving community of faith.”
In John 15:4 we read: “A branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.”
We recognize that in order for each of us to thrive, as well as our congregation, we must embrace five cultivating markers of flourishing. Those markers are Abundance, Clarity, Witness, Kinship, and Joy.
Every week in January, we will focus on one of these markers to help us (congregationally and individually) become more agile, aware, and responsive to God’s presence and inspiration to action. This will help us to thrive in ways that grow us spiritually and missionally.
Be on the lookout for an email each week which includes videos on each of the markers that will help clarify how we might embrace and engage in these markers through prayer, worship, and spiritual discernment.
We invite you to pray about your giving commitment for 2025 and be ready to make your commitment on January 26th in worship. There will be opportunities for you to fill out a card or to do so online.
We are excited to see and experience with you how Wildwood will Thrive in ’25.
